The Gyroid Table Lamp is part of a collection of objects inspired by the gyroid, a naturally occurring mathematical pattern.

The lamp is digitally designed and fabricated with 3d-printing here in Shepherd’s Bush using recycled plastics from renewable sources.

Discovered by NASA scientist Alan Schoen in 1970, gyroids are found in various natural forms, such as butterfly wings and cellular structures. Their intricate pattern of channels and voids provides a highly rigid and lightweight structure.
